As a kid I knew this scene was special for a reason. The animation throughout "Day of the Dungeon Master" is average at the best of times, but as the pupils escape from an exploding castle we see some refreshing Japanese animation. Watch as Eric casts a spell to get himself and his friends away; his body motion and the stature of all the characters is very Japanese; but the best moment by far has to be the amazing explosion which turns into the haunting image of Venger!
