This one is an 11x14 Oil Pastel drawing using Cray-Pas, Mungyo, and Loew Cornell oil pastels on Canson acid free paper #501 "Tobacco" color paper. This drawing was made from sketches made last summer around St. Augustine's marshlands off the intracoastal waterway south of the fort, and north of Matanzas. It was a nice change of pace from my other recent paintings. I use a technique that layers color on color, then smeared together. usually I would use a paper shading taper (tortillon) to smear it. but not having any right now, i had to use my "built-in" smear stick (my finger) LOL. It was fun to do a pastel again.
Hope you like it.
It was time-lapsed using a Sony TRV25 in INTERVAL mode (1/2 second every 30 seconds).
