| Based on the 1993 play of the same name by Jonathan Harvey, the film follows the budding relationship between two teens living in a Thamesmead estate. Jamie is a shy young man who prefers staying home and watching musicals to participating in football at school. He's infatuated with Ste, his next-door neighbor who has troubles at home. In part 1: Jamie has a hard time during football - and later, Sandra unwittingly makes the situation just a wee bit worse for Jamie. |
