My tribute to Elvis Presley's 30th Anniversary.First part Intro and song CC Rider 2nd half Amature Video not the best quality but captures the magic.
I ask you:
Will any one person achieve what Elvis has and still does? No! I simply don't believe it and I have always believed firmly that Elvis was meant to be.He knew it when he would visit his Twin brother (Jessie Garon's) Gravesite as a child he would promise him that he would make up for his life.Think of it, as painful as it is to, if Elvis had an identical twin would he had been so driven to achieve what he did?
By the time he showed up at Sun Studios in Memphis at 18 years of age he had no doubts that he would be a star. As a teenager kids made fun of him when he would tell them. They thought he was crazy. He wasn't crazy, Elvis was a miracle
Elvis Presley fell in love with the works of Sprach Zarathustra WHEN HE SEEN THE MOVIE (Theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey) THE master piece OF WORK SPARKED INTEREST IN ELVIS and it became his trademark intro music that fueled the crowd and as with many of his songs, was re-mastered to his liking and his musical Genius is clearly apparent in many of his songs.
Elvis's Last(Filmed for his fans) Performance, his last Intro and His Last Goodbye (Can't Help Falling In Love) The Goodbye is Amature Video from a view I had never seen Elvis in leaving the stage in this Concert. It shows more how he lingered on stage, as if he knew it was his Last Goodbye.
I Read something that touched me, the other day, that the World failed Elvis. The Blogger was right! The most major Music Performer Ever to live and we all seen he was sick, yet we took Elvis for granted on that hot summer back in 1977. I used to put all blame on the Memphis Mafia, and to an extent their tell all book published a couple weeks before Elvis's death certainly was the major factor, but we also failed him and lost one of the greatest men to ever live. A man that right up until his death he would go onstage, literally half dead, over-weight and still overcome those tremendous obsticals, so he could please his fans with a voice that just kept getting better.
We Love You Elvis and although 30 years has gone by since you left, it seems like yesterday.
In the words of the now infamous Col Parker in response to a reporter on the day Elvis died(Elvis didn't die, just his shell did.)
