| Time now for that other bruce! It´s been long overdue and without further ado here´s the video: 1. Starting with the lower register, here is the low part from "fear in the dark" where he touches on G2 and sustains a few Bb2:s, wish he really went low here, it would fit with the song perfectly. 2. Two E2:s from "dance of death" from the "Death on the road" CD. 3. A solid E2 from the end of "Sign of the cross" from "Rock in Rio". 4. Whispery C#2:s from "Believil". 5. time for a high low note, the B3 from Hallowed be thy name", it sounds lower because bruce darkens the colour of the note. 6. Nice solo singing by bruce, a B4 with a trill to C#5. Here is proof that he is a low tenor, a true tenor wouldn´t sound strained here. 7. Another B4 but with a louder backing, from "Benjamin Breeg". 8. Now 3 audience participation screams. In these screams one can often find his highest full voice notes. First is a D#5 from introduction to Mercenary from Rock in Rio. 9. An E5 scream from Death on the Road CD. 10. A short F5 from "Hallowed be thy name" from "Rock in Rio". 11. The great E5 scream from "Children of the damned" (check out Sebastian Bach´s version!). 12. His highest sustained full voice note ever, the D5 to E5 from "where eagles dare", to my knowledge never duplicated live. 13. More E5:s, this time from "Quest for fire", not so chesty this time. 14. Short F#5:s from ending of Gangland. Now we move into falsetto 15. The ending to "run to the hills", a G5. notice the thinness in sound compared to the previous clips. 16. A very nice falsetto by bruce, G5 from "Aces high". 17. A solid sustained and full voiced C#5 and then a G#5 "nasty" falsetto scream, song is "Flight of Icarus". 18. The classic A5 scream from "Number of the beast". Check out Labrie´s version, he does not sing the verses so good but the scream is great! 19. An A5 and then a B5 from gangland, highest note ever for bruce. Enjoy the air raid siren! New Info: Bruce hits full voiced F#5:s in this live version of Where Eagles Dare,watch?v=e4TgUP3HNlw. And great E5:s in head voice in Cross-eyed Mary! |
