Luc Besson's "Wasabi" cut to the song "Lean On Me" by Home Made Kazoku. Having always harbored an affection for the film, not to mention the beautiful actress Hirosue Ryoko, I took this project on for fun. I had a great time putting this together, so I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I had fun editing it.
For those who aren't familiar with the film's plot (possible spoilers ahead), a burnt out police officer (Jean Reno) living in Paris since the disappearance of his one and only love, a Japanese woman named Miko, recieves a call that his former fiance has died. He learns during the sorting through of her will that he is the father of a daughter (Ryoko Hirosue) of whose existence he was completely unaware. As a dangerous Yakuza conspiracy comes to a boil around the young naive girl, she must overcome her hatred for her absentee father and lean on him for emotional support when her entire world comes crumbling down around her.
