From the DVD - The Pink Floyd and Sid Barrett Story available on during autumn 2006.

An excerpt from the 49 minute documentary,
Syd Barrett was an influential and spophisticated musician who captured the spirit of an era. His abrupt departure in 1968 brought to an end the first incredible period in the Pink Floyd odyssey.
Behemian artist, poet and visionary, Syd joined Pink Floyd in 1965. He succeeded in creating a wholly original sound and together with the band helped to forge the British Psychedelic scene. This unique documentary depicts the band's epic rise to fame under Barrett's influence to his premature departure in a drug-induced haze and ensuing psychological problems.
Lavishly illustrated with rare early footage of Pink Floyd in performance alongside new interviews with the members of the band - David Gilmour, Rick Wright, Roger Waters and Nick Mason - the their associates, fans and friends including Jerry Shirley (Humble Pie), Graham Coxon (ex Blur), Robyn Hitchcock and original Pink Floyd member Bob Klose.
