Some important info about this video and Head:
Video: A tribute video from kornzone.pl to ex-Korn Brian 'Head' Welch, who left the band early 2005. He released a best-selling memoir titled 'Save Me From Myself' in July 2007. His solo record of the same name will be out 09-09-2008.
Brian left Korn after he had gone through years of deep depression, mainly caused by having to give his first child up for adoption, a later broken marriage and failing to properly raise his 2nd child as a single father (his ex-wife in jail) due to the constant touring with Korn. This led him to become an out of control addict (most importantly to meth), unable to quit.
Late 2004 he found God and started a new life.
Brian's departure has been the only change in Korn's line-up since their start in 1992. The band, originally a five-piece formation, did not want to replace him, leaving James 'Munky' Shaffer to be the only guitarist of the band now.
Music: The studio version of one of Brian's first solo recordings, titled 'Letter To Dimebag'; a dedication to Pantera/Damage Plan guitarist Darrell 'Dimebag' Abbott, who was murdered in 2004.
"It is written in guitar language, and I did it because he used to tell me we needed to put guitar solos in Korn. So, this song's for him, and to him. It's saying how much I miss him. Even though we weren't too close, his very friendly personality had a great impact on me." - Head
