| Video Description Do not watch unless you have finished the game! Master Chief barely escapes the firing ring together with the Arbiter and Cortana. However, Master Chief (referred to as John in the movie, which is his real name) is presumed dead, killed during the firing of the last Halo-ring. A memorial service is being held by the general to remember the soldiers who have sacrificed themselves. The Arbiter returns home with his species to check up on their people, while everyone on Earth will rebuild everything again. One hilltop will remain barren, with a memorial stone. At the ending, on the stone you see the number 117 carved onto it. This is the code number that was given to the now missing Master Chief...
