Homer Haynes and Jethro Burns were country music's premier satirists and were also respected as very accomplished jazz musicians. The team leapt beyond the conventional country music venues of rural schoolhouses, tent shows, and county fairs to take high-visibility bookings on network television variety shows and in Las Vegas showrooms and swank urban nightclubs. In the 1960's they became spokesmen for Kellogg's Corn Flakes "They're so Corny!"
