Yes, I know I failed to put in the "Sir-yes-sirs" in the beginning, simply because I didn't feel like waiting an extra hour to re-do that an export it for a fifth time. Use your imagination. In this scene from Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, new recruits for Vietnam are being lectured on their first day by Gunnery Sgt. Hartman, played by former real-life drill instructor R. Lee Ermey. It's kind of a shame... the first 45 minutes of this film is amazing. The scenes that actually take place in Vietnam kind of drag. Still, Kubrick was awesome. Good choice, guys. This is an awesome scene... ugh. The Reservoir Dogs one is even longer... you guys are making me work. |
