The Song
This video is pretty special. Usually I only make videos from songs that I love and familiar with (to the point that I know every beats of it). The song, Teardrops is by Project North Meets South, whose member is one of my friends (The Mule) on InSIMenator.net. I've never heard of it before he gave me the song but I accepted the challenge because I wanted to do something new. It was hard at first, but I'm pretty pleased with the finish product.
The Video
The video is about a woman who recently lost her husband. It revolves around the day of his funeral. It was supposed to be a day where she let go of him, but he seems to be 'around'. Does he have some unfinished business? Does she have a dark secret to keep?
(spoiler alert)
The blurry scenes in the middle of the video signify the wife's conscience. The black out scenes is where the husband is haunting her, while the kitchen scene is where she was looking back at what happened between her and the husband a few days earlier.
