When 7Note asked me to post a solo piano piece I thought to myself "I'm really more of a combo player, but OK." It's mainly because when I play solo piano, I like to just improvise from start to finish. No AABA form, no set tempo, no recognizable melody - just play.
This improv is based on a descending chromatic scale using either minor 9 chords or major #11 chords - dorian and lydian modes.
After I finished playing this piece I interspersed some interesting pictures to look at instead of fingers and keys.
