= VIDEO EDITED AND CREATED BY BRUCE BLITZ = therealbruceblitz.Dwyane Wade Flash 2006 Detroit Pistons flu game NBA Finals vs Dirk The rose that grew from concrete is a poem that Tupac Shakur wrote. The book of Tupac poems also shares the same name. Dwyane Wade truly is the rose that grew from concrete. If you research his story LEADING UP to his professional career, this guy could have made many wrong choices along the way, he didn't, and he stuck to his dream, which was to be one of the best players on the planet. I originally made this video in the summer of 2007. I remastered it in Jan 2008 and added some plays from 07-08 to it. You will notice a difference in quality. don't worry about that.

Wade is the fifth NBA player to be named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year joining Bill Russell (1968), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1985), Michael Jordan (1991), Tim Duncan, and David Robinson (2003). He is also the youngest player on the NBA/SI Sportsman list.
2006 NBA Finals
In his first trip to the NBA Finals, in which the Miami Heat faced off against the Dallas Mavericks, Wade had some especially memorable moments. His performance in games three, four, and five, in which he scored 42, 36, and 43 points, respectively, helped bring the Heat back from a 0--2 deficit to lead the series at 3 games to 2. Wade's Game 3 performance was especially memorable; Wade finished with 42 points (tying his career playoff high) and 13 rebounds (career high). 15 of his 42 points came in the 4th quarter, in which the Heat erased a 13 point deficit over the final 6:34 with a 22--7 run which included a go-ahead jumper by NBA veteran Gary Payton that sealed the win. The Heat went on to win Game 6, taking the series 4--2, and Wade was presented with the Finals MVP trophy. He became the fifth youngest player in NBA history to capture NBA Finals MVP honors and recorded the third highest scoring average by a player in his first NBA Finals with 34.7 points per game.
In 2008, Wade has been inconsistent and struggling. It's only January 12, 2008, and Wade is still probably dealing with recovering from his injuries he suffered over the course of the last year and a half. I personally like watching Dwyane Wade. I think he is the most exciting player in the game. I think Dwight Howard is up there as far as players who are exciting, especially watching Dwight Howard finish. Dwyane Wade is lethal off the dribble, he has a silky-smooth jump shot, and he's a pretty good finisher too. Wade is still fairly young so only time will tell how much he gets out of his own talent. Right now the Heat aren't a very good team so his supporting cast isn't giving him much help. Players like Dwyane Flash Wade, LeBron The Chosen One James, right on down to Kobe Bryant, players like this are exciting to watch. If you don't watch the NBA, you really should check your local listings for some games coming up!
