Put this together between classes. Enjoy, you little miscreants.
Video effects in order
#1: Negative. Reversed colors. Doesn't get any simpler than that.
#2: Bulge Distortion. A little Jabba the Hutt action. That impersonation is credited to Jim Carrey, I think.
#3 and #4: Circle Splash Distortion and White Point Adjust. Music is Duel of the Fates from Star Wars: Episode 1.
#5: Edges. I added a little voice distortion. Disturbing.
#7: Edge Work. Song is "Take On Me" by A-Ha. In case you didn't know, the whole music video for "Take On Me" looks similar to this effect. It was, in fact, all drawn by hand.
#8: Earthquake. Reminded me of how they shake the camera every time the Enterprise gets pwned by a photon.
#9: Fast Motion. The actual video footage is somewhere between 2 and 3 minutes long. This one was my favorite.
#10: Electricity. Music is, of course, The Electric Boogie (otherwise known as "The Electric Slide.")
#11: Squares. What I was doing was a scene from Wayne's World, where Wayne is asking his girlfriend Cassandra whether or not she's cheating on him. "Where did you hear that," she asks. "Oh you know how these things go." etc. etc.
#12: Bloom. It's like a widescreen TV. I love how it glows.
#13 & #14: Letterbox and Slow Motion. If you want to make something look epic, combine these two effects for a nice effect. Add forboding music, and you have yourself a nice finale.
