December 10 2007 Jagex made a update to completely stop bots and real world traders by removing the wild and the ability of merchanting
ex.Now you can't trade a whip for a rune scimitar or anything less then 3k of the whips value and YOU CAN'T GIFT PEOPLE PRESENTS FOR THERE BIRTHDAY D;!
In January they will make it so you can't drop anything more then 3k of value in the ground . lol
They removed the wild and replaced it with a cheezy mini game where groups just pwn you in this small zone.
